Q: How high should I hang the pendant?

A: Because the cord is adjustable, you can easily customize the hanging height to suit your space.
Over a Kitchen Island Hang the bottom of the shade 32–36 inches (81–91 cm) above the countertop.
Over a Dining Table Position the bottom of the shade 30–34 inches (76–86 cm) above the tabletop for a warm, inviting atmosphere.
General Ceiling Height For standard 9 ft (2.7 m) ceilings, leave approximately 7 ft (213 cm) of clearance from the floor to the bottom of the fixture.
