Production Process

a. Natural & Eco-Friendly
We select 100% natural bamboo. As a rapidly renewable and sustainable resource, it provides the ideal balance of flexibility and strength while remaining entirely eco-friendly.
b. Eco-Harvesting
The mature bamboo stalks are carefully cut and harvested from sustainable forests. The green, waxy outer layer is then removed to reveal the smooth inner wood
c. Precision Splitting
The prepared bamboo stalks are split radially using specialized tools, transforming thick poles into uniform, thin strips ready for processing.
d. Drying Bamboo
The refined bamboo splits are thoroughly sun-dried or kiln-dried to eliminate moisture, ensuring structural stability and preventing future warping.
e. Hand-Woven
Artisans meticulously split the strips into paper-thin layers and intertwine them by hand, using traditional techniques to shape unique, light-diffusing forms.
f. De-burring & Protective Oiling
Each woven shade is lightly singed with a flame to burn away rough burrs, ensuring a smooth finish. We then apply an eco-friendly lacquer to enhance durability and resist humidity.
g. Finished Product
The lampshade is reinforced along the edges, given a final quality check, and fully assembled with certified electrical components.
